Various events are held at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics to effectively organize students' leisure time. For this purpose, excursions to museums located in the capital and regions of Baku State University and to places where historical monuments are located are regularly organized. Recently, the University has created particularly wide conditions for the comprehensive development of students. Today, institutions such as the Sports and Health Center, the Culture and Creativity Center, and the Psychological Assistance Sector operating at Baku State University are designed to ensure the physical and mental healthy development of students, as well as their recreation. Students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics take advantage of the created conditions and actively participate in the cultural, public, and social life of the university. The football team of the faculty, consisting of boys, performs in the university championship every year. Intellectual games and various scientific and social competitions are regularly held at the faculty. At the same time, cooperation is carried out with scientific and research institutions and institutes operating in the country in the fields of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Informatics. The staff and students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics actively participate in the public life of our country and the university. The faculty's teaching staff is engaged in the upbringing of the younger generation, their involvement in scientific research, as well as social education on the issues of statehood and patriotism.
